What is Gore-Tex and why does it keep me 100% dry?
Gore-Tex Paclite technology features the lightest, most packable fabrics. Durably waterproof, windproof and extremely breathable. The Gore-Tex membrane contains over 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square cm, 20,000 time smaller than a water droplet but 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule. This makes the Gore-Tex membrane both completely waterproof and at the same time allows perspiration to escape from the inside. Windstopper garments do not require any ironing to keep their shape and will continue to look good wash after wash.
