Andrew Morris Golf is Northern Ireland’s largest independent golf retailer. We are looking for an Administrative assistant to join our team.

Reporting to head of warehouse, you will work within a growing and successful local business, playing a pivotal role in the smooth running of our back office system.

This position will suit an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is keen to join a stable business in a growing and friendly team.

This is a Full Time, permanent role based in Dunmurry and is available for an immediate start.

Remuneration: Salary: competitive, dependent on experience.

The Role

Working as part of a team, the post holder will be responsible for the data entry of a high volume of new products received into the warehouse to ensure they are efficiently recorded on the stock control system. To assist in the smooth running of the warehouse and support the website.

More specific duties will include:

  • Preparation and processing of high volume of new stock.
  • Creating new products on our stock file
  • Retrieving relevant information from suppliers via excel files.
  • Recording and inputting all the information accurately (including categories, pricing, and barcoding i.e. all the formatting is correctly imported)
  • Preparation of new products information to be uploaded up to website platform.
  • Using electronic and manual filing systems with due regard to security and confidentiality (GDPR)
  • Teamwork with other warehouse/website staff to assist in all tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Other ad hoc admin department duties as required.

All training will be provided.

Essential Criteria:

  • ‘C’ grade or above, in Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Excellent computer literacy and numerical skills Including Excel
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational / time management skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours to ensure business needs are met.
  • Excellent attendance / timekeeping.

Desirable Experience:

  • Knowledge of golf
  • Knowledge of photo editing.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment.

 

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm.

    **Contract 40 Hours per week, permanent full-time

    Salary - very attractive package based on experience
